Sustainable agriculture, quality and trust

Promoting sustainable agricultural production is a strategic priority of the European Union. It rests on responsible farming practices, stringent quality and safety standards, and transparency and traceability at every stage of the value chain.

EU Drops & Bites highlights these values through two emblematic European products: extra virgin olive oil and dried grapes. Through information and promotion activities in Finland and Sweden, the programme aims to raise awareness of how these products are produced, the European standards they must meet, and the role of sustainable agriculture in protecting the climate and the environment.

The programme was selected under the European Union topic for information and promotion programmes on sustainable Union agriculture, AGRIP-SIMPLE-2025-IM-SUSTAINABLE.
